Thank you for taking the time to look at our SR-1078 website. Deciding to attend Wood Badge training is a great way to strengthen yourself as a scout leader and in turn strengthen the program for your scouts!
Let me ask you, do you as a scout leader have a Vision? Does your unit leadership have a “Shared Vision” in terms of where it’s headed next year or within the next three to five years? Do the leaders in your unit kind of just show up and do their thing for an hour? or do you work as part of a high performance tam? Are all of your unit leaders truly grounded in the Scouting Values? Do you find opportunities to relate the Scouting Values in games or activities? Do you have an understanding of all the scouting programs outside the one you are currently involved in? If not, I highly recommend you and other leaders from your unit to attend Wood Badge Course SR-1078 so you can “Share the Vision”.
